Super Marathon is a CD-ROM-based first-person shooter video game for Apple's short-lived Pippin platform. Definitely held up better than I expected and I still had quite a ton of fun playing through it. Plus Marathon 2 is still an awesome and fun game to play. Download the app to your device of choice (the best VPNs have apps for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux, and more) Open up the app and connect to a server in a location that has access to. You certainly get some light Halo vibes from Marathon. Considering Halo was originally a Mac exclusive it makes total sense how the lineage evolved. I was always a fan of the Marathon series and you can totally see how Bungie evolves their space first person shooter from the Marathon series to Halo. And by running I mean “you get all the sound effects only if you have a RAM expansion card”.you know.a rare upgrade on an already rare console. Once the game was finally finished Bungie only received a handful of copies internally and the game was barely even distributed, making it one of the rarest releases on an already rare console. Bungie couldn’t even get support from Bandai to get the game up and running on the Pippin so they had to call in a favor at Apple for developer help. Its a great story on how this even existed in the first place. ![]() I’d assume a decent amount of Gaf folk have played Marathon and Marathon 2.but has anyone else on here ever played it on the Apple Pippin? ![]()
